Together, we can end the addiction crisis

Since we founded 10 For Addiction, we’ve had one unapologetic goal: ending the national addiction crisis. Big goal? Yes. Achievable? We know it is... and every single day we are getting closer thanks to our frontline staff and a relentless tribe of donors. If we stand together, we will see a day where every addict who is ready to heal actually makes it home.

At 10 For Addiction, we measure ultimate success by one metric: lives saved. If there were an easier way to get addicts to heal and live transformational lives, we’d do it. But right now, the traditional system is failing them. We step in, fund the gap, and make sure the next guy who asks for help makes it home.

You have our word—and more

We refused to build another charity where your money pays for overhead. 100% of your public donation goes straight to the the essential needs of individuals in addiction treatment. Private donors already cover our operating costs, so every single dollar you give actually saves a life.

FROM THE FOUNDER

I survived the trap. Now I'm funding the escape.

I’m Jimmie. I survived the treatment industry's failures (7 rehabs to be exact). I built a 6-month, brain-based recovery model that actually works, but insurance won't touch it because it cures the customer.

I'm not asking for a million dollars from a corporation. I'm asking for $10 a month from a generation that refuses to accept 'good enough.'

I can't help but feel grateful for all the work we've been able to do, but I know there's more.

THE FUNDING GAP

Give The Gift Of Time

Insurance typically cuts off support at 28 days. But real, science-backed healing takes up to 180 days. Your gift bridges this critical gap, providing men with the NeuroChange treatment they need to rewire trauma and rebuild their lives.

  • Bypass restrictive insurance limitations
  • Fund up to 180 days of residential care
  • Provide access to neuroscience-backed therapy

Every dollar you give goes directly toward treatment costs for a vetted addict seeking treatment. You are not just giving money. You are giving the time required to truly heal.

Understanding The Plan

You are investing in a program that rewires the brain and breaks the cycle of addiction for good. We know our clinical approach is different from the traditional 28-day model, and you may have logistical or technical questions about how NeuroChange treatment works—and why your philanthropic support is the only way it happens. Here are the answers.

What exactly is NeuroChange Treatment?

Most rehabs make our guys sit in a room and relive their worst memories. NeuroChange does the exact opposite. Based on the breakthrough work of Dr. Joe Dispenza, it is a proven system that teaches clients how to physically rewire their brains to break addictive habits. At the time of this writing, Jimmie is the only person in America authorized to teach this to guys in recovery. Instead of just talking about the past, our guys take action. We start with a two-day intensive workshop to show them exactly how their brain is biologically keeping them stuck. Then, they spend the next 30 days using specific, guided meditations and procedures to kill their biggest "hot button" triggers and rebuild their lives from the neurological level up.

Why is the program 180 days long/longer?

Science proves 30 days isn't enough. Brain imaging studies published in the Journal of Neuroscience (Volkow et al.) reveal it takes up to 14 months for dopamine pathways to heal from addiction. Our 180-day program honors this biological reality, ensuring the brain actually rewires before a client faces the real world. We don't force clients to leave when they are far from biologically ready to face their triggers in an unsafe environment.

How is your 59% success rate calculated?

We track outcomes through long-term follow-up intervals at 30, 60, and 90 days, extending out to six months. We cap this specific metric at the six-month mark because, as is a common challenge in the recovery industry, we begin losing contact with alumni the further out they get. At this point, the clients typically want to "move on" from treatment and focus on applying what they learned in their families, jobs, and new endeavors. Many traditional centers manipulate their success rates by only measuring "program completion" or by stopping their tracking after just 30 days of sobriety, but our 59% represents sustained sobriety and life transformation half a year after discharge.

Why doesn't insurance cover this level of care?

We are fighting a 21st-century brain crisis with 1970s insurance policies. Insurers refuse to fund neurological rewiring due to three systemic flaws. First, standard 30-day limits are based on decades-old billing models, not modern clinical neuroscience. Second, the rehab industry routinely manipulates data to inflate short-term success rates, removing financial incentive for insurers to cover comprehensive care. Finally, insurers falsely categorize proven, evidence-based therapies as "experimental." They happily reimburse cheap, ineffective interventions while leaving a $30,000 funding gap for the intensive care actually required to heal the brain. They label advanced treatments 'experimental' to deny coverage, creating a $30,000 funding gap per client. This is the exact gap our donors fill.

Where is the treatment facility located?

Beacon Treatment Centers currently operates in two locations in northeastern Arizona, with a third location planned for expansion:

- Vernon, Arizona (Primary Campus): The main facility is located at 30 Apache Country Rd. 3398, Vernon, AZ 85940. This is an intentionally remote, 26-acre rural campus situated in the woods near a national forest.

- Show Low, Arizona: A second facility is located about 30 minutes east of Vernon at 1201 E. Cooley St. Ste. A, Show Low, AZ 85901, which hosts the weekly alumni meetings.

- South Dakota (Future Expansion): Beacon is actively working to expand to the Black Hills of South Dakota to serve the Lakota Nation and surrounding states.

Is this donation tax deductible?

Yes. 10 For Addiction is the fundraising arm of Beacon Charities, which is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Your contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

How do I know if my money is being used properly?

"Radical transparency is our standard. I’ve put nearly $2.2 million of my own money back into this mission because I believe in a better way. Your money goes directly toward bridging the $30,000 gap per client - providing food, housing, and alternative evidence-based treatment that Medicaid and insurance refuse to cover. Your money makes neuroscience-backed care accessible to the underserved (again, public donations do not support overhead costs). We send quarterly reports and you can contact us for a full transparency report."

Is Beacon Treatment Center/Beacon Charities legitimate?

We strictly fund life-saving recovery at Beacon Treatment Center. They have earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® , meaning they undergo rigorous, unannounced on-site reviews to guarantee safe, high-quality care. They are fully licensed (AZDHS License OTC 12702) and the results speak for themselves. While the industry average for long-term sobriety hovers at a pathetic 30%, our sponsored program is achieving a 59% success rate at six months post-completion.

Let them fill you in: "Beacon Charities is the fundraising engine driving a recovery revolution. Through Beacon Treatment Center, we operate as an extended-stay Outpatient Treatment Center (OTC) that provides long-term care beyond the typical 30-day insurance limit. The center rejects the “assembly line” approach to recovery, instead using a Customized Care model that begins with at least twelve assessments beyond industry standards to evaluate an individual’s trauma history, personality style, neurobiological markers, cognitive style, cultural background and context. We are not warehousing people; we use neuroscience and innovative interventions to give men a new brain and a life worth living.

Since our founding, we have successfully supported over 250 individuals through residential treatment, life-skills training, and transitional housing. Our Vivid Vision targets a 73 percent three-year sobriety rate by 2028 because we measure success by transformed lives, not quarterly profit reports.

The ultimate proof of our success is the brotherhood we have built. Many of our graduates do not just stay sober; they become healers who now work as professional staff in our own facilities. We are breaking the cycle of generational trauma and proving that high-level recovery tools should be accessible to everyone, not just the wealthy."

That’s Beacon Charities. See beacontreatmentcenter.com and beaconcharities.com for more information.

What happens to the addict once they complete the program?

Preparation starts two months before discharge with a career development phase. Our team trains clients in essential workplace skills so that every man leaves the program as a hirable asset stepping directly into the workforce. Our post-discharge tracking is conducted at at 30, 60, and 90 days. If a guy stumbles, we offer interventions and support instead of a cold hand. Case managers handle the logistics of real-world integration by securing housing and establishing financial literacy. The ultimate safety net, however, is our Alumni Program. Governed entirely by a board of past graduates, they run peer meetings, events, and outdoor adventures to maintain the brotherhood built in treatment. Finally, we expect our graduates to lead. Service prevents relapse. Our top alumni take charge of community events, and we directly hire our best success stories as Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to pull the next generation out of the fire.

If you still have questions, feel free to chat with our team! We’ll get back to you as soon as possible to answer all of your questions.
